NEW HMong Wellness Resources

Mental Wellness Rooted in HMong Culture and Community

At NEW HMong, we understand that mental wellness is deeply connected to our history, culture, and community. That’s why our mental wellness initiatives are designed specifically for the HMong community—guided by cultural values, led by certified community health workers and built on trust.

Community Health Workers

One-on-one or group sessions with trained HMong-speaking specialists and culturally aware mental health professionals who understand your journey.  Reach out for support at info@newhmongwi.org.

Gathering and Cultural Spaces

Culturally tailored activities, such as Paj Ntaub, gardening and outings that combat isolation and loneliness and support community connectedness in culturally safe spaces.

HMong Youth Support

Programs that support HMong community and belonging, such as volleyball and dancing, also support mental wellness for HMong youth.
