Services for the HMong Community

NEW HMong Health Equity Services
Health equity means that everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential for health and well-being. While the HMong community in Northeast Wisconsin faces barriers—such as language and cultural differences, transportation challenges, and the enduring effects of historical trauma—we are committed to addressing these challenges together. By offering accessible, culturally relevant resources and honoring HMong identity, values, and traditions, we believe health equity is not only possible but achievable through strong community engagement.
Supporting HMong Elders
At NEW HMong, we honor the wisdom, experience, and cultural leadership of our elders. Supporting HMong elders in our community is a core part of our mission—and a deep expression of our values.
We provide opportunities for HMong elders to stay connected, engaged, and supported through culturally rooted programs and services. Whether it's access to community gatherings, wellness resources, or HMong traditional arts and activities, such as Paj Ntaub, our goal is to help elders maintain meaningful roles in their families and the broader HMong community.
